Help us make digital improvements

The Fundraising Regulator is committed to ensuring that all of our services and information are digital first and user-friendly. This year we are taking this development further with an ambitious project exploring the benefits of a digital Fundraising Badge. All registered charities and non-charities are allowed to display the badge on their fundraising materials, including their website, showing that they are registered with us and have committed to legal, open and honest fundraising practice. The digital Fundraising Badge is the next generation badge - a live badge, that sits on the footer of a registered charity or organisation’s website. The badge displays the current year of registration and with just one click takes users to the charity or organisation’s page on our directory. This means that donors and potential donors can be confident that they are giving safely and that their generous gift is going where they intend it to. Once they arrive at the directory page, they can also find all of the charity or organisation's details so if they have any questions they know exactly how and who to contact.

We’re looking for people to help us test the digital badge. The testing will likely need to be run by the person who oversees the website as they will need to access the footer, and they will need access to your Registered Users Area log in details.

We’re offering all testers a £20 voucher of their choice. If you’d like to help us with this testing phase please contact: admin@fundraisingregulator.org.uk
