At the Fundraising Regulator we rely on the voices of fundraisers on our committees to guide our board on decisions and strategy. We have three vacancies on our committees for experienced fundraisers as we’re looking to replace a number of long serving members who have come to the end of their terms of appointment.
We are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion and want all those involved in our governance and our staff team to be truly representative of the society we are here to support and protect so that we’re able to regulate effectively. One way we do this is by operating a fair and inclusive recruitment process, which aims to reach a diverse pool of candidates.
There are many benefits to sitting on one of our committees. Successful candidates will be able to help shape decisions that may affect their profession and gain valuable experience in regulation and strategic decision making.
We’re looking for people who can demonstrate knowledge and experience of different types of fundraising and are motivated and enthusiastic to join one of our committees.
What does the role involve?
- Our board and each committee meet four times per year preferably in person.
- Meetings are held in London (hybrid where appropriate).
- A minimum time commitment of one day per month is required to read papers and attend the meeting.
- Members are remunerated plus reasonable travel expenses are paid.
More information about the role and how to apply can be found here.
